Facilities
Lyme Cottage has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a well planned kitchen, a welcoming lounge with open fireplace and a deck/garden with sea view. The window in the double room looks out over Lyme Bay and the Cobb and the second bedroom has beds that can be made up as twins or zipped together to form a kingsize double if you prefer. A comfy sofa bed provides an extra double should you need it for occasional drop-in guests. The facilities page provides more detail and we also have three galleries of photos to peruse.
The Jurassic Coast
Lyme Regis lies at the heart of a designated World Heritage Site in the West corner of Dorset where it meets Devon – the striking scenery along the Jurassic Coast provides the backdrop for cliff walks and fossil collecting. You’ll be spoilt for choice for eating out in Lyme Regis with restaurants and pubs just a minute or two from the door – though you’ll be tempted to eat at home once you’ve settled yourself at the cottage!

Honiton Market Charter Day
Sat, 18th July
A town-wide celebration with live performances, music, family fun activities, a bouncy castle, a dog show and a good selection of food and licensed drinks stalls. This year's theme is "Storytelling".
Somers Day Parade
Wed, 22nd July at 11am
Annual parade organised by the Lyme Regis and St George's Twinning Association to commemorate Admiral Sir George Somers, founder of Bermuda. Dignitaries from Bermuda join the procession through Langmoor Gardens to the Cobb.
Lyme Regis Summer Fireworks Display
Fri, 31st July at 9:30pm
Spectacular fireworks display from The Cobb to open Regatta and Carnival Week. Free to attend from Langmoor and Lister Gardens or anywhere along the seafront.
Lyme Regis Regatta and Carnival Week

Week-long programme of family events raising money for local good causes. Highlights include the Torchlight Procession, Candles Down the River, Wacky Wheelbarrow Race, Duck Race and Grand Carnival Procession finale.
Grand Carnival Procession

The spectacular finale of Carnival Week: a colourful procession with music, dance and entertainment from Holmbush Car Park down Broad Street and along Marine Parade to the Cobb.

We spent a wonderful New Year at Sam’s gorgeous cottage. The house is immaculate and kitted out with everything you could need.
Sam was really helpful and quick to answer if we had any questions. The location of the cottage is superb with a fabulous view. We all loved our stay here.

Brilliant place to stay, a stone’s throw from everything! Lovely little cottage. Kitted out well. Nice bedding and towels and fantastic shower upstairs (didn’t try downstairs but the bath was useful for little one). Great little family place.
I knew the one bed was a standard double (4’6” and firm- very cosy!). Thank heaven for the fans!
Thanks Sam also for arranging a week’s parking practically next door at your neighbour's car park (£10 per day). Super convenient.
